On Thursday 12 March 2020, the Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) Improvement Programme Team will begin their 18-month journey of facilitating five local learning events. These events are the first of four in each area, which will be held over the life of the programme.

Inspectors from our ELC teams, local authority representatives and national stakeholders will come together to support providers and managers to make improvements in the quality criteria of the ELC national standard.

 

The area learning sessions will take place on:

• Inverness – 12 March 2020
• Aberdeen City – 17 March 2020
• Dunbar – 19 March 2020
• Dumfries – 24 March 2020
• Glasgow City – 26 March 2020

The improvement programme will work directly with various early learning and childcare stakeholders and providers to drive forward quality improvements in the sector.
