The Sharing Intelligence for Health & Care Group has published its annual report for 2016-17.
The Group was formed two years ago in a bid to improve the quality of health and social care by allowing members to share, and learn from, existing data, knowledge and intelligence.
The Mental Welfare Commission is one of six national organisations that make up the Group, along with Audit Scotland, the Care Inspectorate, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, NHS National Services Scotland and NHS Education for Scotland.
Alison Thompson, Executive Director (Nursing), Mental Welfare Commission, said:
"The Commission is committed to contributing to the important work of this group. We support the group's ambition to reflect the integration of health and social care services and that the majority of care, treatment and support is delivered outside of hospital."
