Press Release
Commenting after the care provider, Four Seasons Health Care, announced to residents that the service is to close, a Care Inspectorate spokesperson said: "We carried out an unannounced inspection at Beach Court Care Home in October and found serious concerns around the care, staffing, management and leadership.
"We served Four Seasons with a formal Improvement Notice setting out the changes the home must make by this month or face closure.
"We expect all care homes to meet high standards and we are currently assessing progress at Beach Court, but the provider has now informed us that it intends to voluntarily close the home.
"We are working with the care provider and the local authority to ensure residents' needs are being met and their rights respected at this difficult time. Everyone has the right to care which meets their needs and promotes their rights and anyone with any concerns can contact our help line on 0345 600 9527."
