All reports for care service inspections completed on or after 15 July 2011 will be issued electronically through our eforms system.
We will no longer automatically send you paper copies of registration certificates or care service inspection reports.
In addition, we encourage you to complete forms online wherever possible. You can find out how to get set up on our online forms system by calling our eForms helpdesk on 0345 603 0890.
We have a duty to provide services that are cost effective and efficient. Moving towards providing all of our services online will help us achieve this.
We would remind you that you have a duty to display your registration certificate publicly within your service. In addition, it is good practice to make your inspection report available to people using and choosing your service and their carers.
If you are unable to access our online services for any reason, please call our national enquiries line on 0345 600 9527 and we will provide you with paper copies. We will also provide translations and alternative formats on request.
Important
Make sure:
- You check your emails regularly so you do not miss important messages.
- You give us your up-to-date email address. If you do not do this, you might not receive your draft inspection report. This could lead you to miss the opportunity to comment on the report and return an action plan on time. You might also miss the final report, which appears on the SCSWIS website at the same time that we send you the final report.
